This second payment is made in Africa at the start of your trip. It is payable in USD. The local payment provides us with the means for expenses that need to be paid in cash to local businesses en route to be arranged in the most cost effective manner possible, a saving we can then pass on to you. It also means we can operate in a way that directly supports local businesses and wildlife authorities as we travel. Local Payment will not be changed once you have booked your travel arrangements. We also offer tours without Local Payments. One fixed price for the tour and activities which you pay all at once to us. Contact us to point them out to you on our website!

Why choose this tour

We have chosen this overland tour because this local partner has been active in the overland industry for over 15 years. They only use qualified and passionate tour leaders with a big love for Africa and they love their job. They use good materials (truck, tents and cooking equipment), they are a small-scale company with attention for personal contact and satisfaction. They are based in Arusha.

What is different to other tours
-They do not have personal lockers in the truck
-You need to bring your own cutlery
-This trip is made up of components and quite often during the safari you will probably meet clients doing shorter and longer sections of your trip depending on the booking patterns for the months you are travelling. This makes it very dynamic.
-Most lunches are not included.
-There are quit a few optional activities. -This way you can design and control your budget more
