Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara

Start your journey with a scenic transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. Afterward, enjoy an afternoon game drive in one of Tanzania's most picturesque wildlife areas. The park features a soda lake, breathtaking views, and is home to elephants, tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti Plains

After breakfast, head towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enter the heart of the Serengeti, where endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see.

The Seronera area, known for its rich wildlife habitat and the Seronera River, provides excellent game-viewing opportunities. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Serengeti Plains

Start your day with an unforgettable hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti (optional, at extra cost). After breakfast, embark on a game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, known for sightings of lions, gazelles, ostriches, and cheetahs.

Visit the Seronera Visitor Centre for wildlife displays and enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of acacia trees. In the afternoon, explore the Kopjes Circuit, where you may spot lions and other wildlife seeking refuge around these iconic granite outcrops.

Dinner and overnight: In the Seronera area, as per your accommodation option.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at the historic Olduvai Gorge to explore significant archaeological discoveries. After lunch at the lodge, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day safari.

The crater is a wildlife paradise, home to large populations of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and predators like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. Visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake known for its flamingos and hippos.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Arusha

After breakfast, transfer back to Arusha. Upon arrival, enjoy a farewell lunch, marking the end of your unforgettable African safari. For groups, it’s customary to tip your guide around $20 per day. If your departure from Arusha allows, consider an additional half-day game drive in Ngorongoro (optional, at extra cost).
